South Carolina Marriage License Application
The Aiken County Probate Courthouse requires you both to come in person to apply for the marriage licenses application. They do not accept checks. After filling out application, it will have to sit in the courthouse for 24 hours, they will make another appointment for you when your marriage license is ready.
The Aiken County Probate Court does not perform marriage ceremonies.

$45. They do not make change. They do not accept personal checks. They do accept Master Card or Visa or cash.
Required documents: Applicants must furnish valid, government-issued ID, such as a driver's license, state ID card, military ID, passport, or visa. Applicants are required to provide their social Security card (copies will not be retained) or their alien identification card (copies will not be detained) if they are resident aliens who do not have Social Security numbers.
